We:transform is a program of the Austrian Creative Industries (KAT). KAT offers regional and national opportunities for visibility, networking, and certification as a creative professional in the country. Following the C hoch 3 program, which many of you are familiar with, we:transform is now available for the first time. The focus is on the following components:

we:transform provides you with new perspectives in times of global upheaval and explores new ways of collaboration in the creative industries. Empower yourself and your company with the co-creative power of experts and develop solutions for yourself and the world with new approaches to the ecological, social, and digital challenges of our time.

Creative professionals from many fields (from A to Z) gathered in Carinthia from June 16th to 18th. They laughed, discussed, chatted, worked strategically, crafted, looked to the future, and, of course, ate and drank. I am one of four Burgenlanders in this first certification round. Belonging to group Vienna A (due to the small number of participants from our region), a total of almost 90 participants nationwide (from all over Austria) will reflect and work for a year with 60 sponsors.
Following an application process that concluded at the end of 2024 / beginning of 2025, the allocations were made. There have now been three online impulses, which will be expanded in number and scope over the course of this year (2025). We have continued our online exchange on-site and have become even more active on a personal level. Around 20 key topics have emerged that will contribute to this year’s certification. The next six months will be about staying on track to achieve optimal results. The federal state facilitators have been assigned to the respective projects, and the exchange takes place via a variety of WhatsApp groups. We live transformation.
